Mosque Donation Appeal For Month of Ramadan

Assalamualaikum,

Ramadan Kareem! May this month of blessings and goodness fill our hearts and homes with Mercy.

As plans for building a mosque move forward, we enter our Ramadan 2013 appeal with some very specific objectives, Islamic Association of Bunbury vision is to build a place where Bunbury Muslim community can worship, learn and strengthen their connection and bonding to Islam and their community. In particular, this will offer an opportunity to engage with our younger and future generations closely, and to support and guide them for their spiritual advancement and growth through the mosque and community centre.

Raising such huge funds for the entire project facility will be our Number One challenge and will be beyond the capability of the association members alone.

We are in the process of using professional planners to help us identifying suitable land/building for our proposed mosque/community hall within greater Bunbury area. They will also provide professional service in getting permission from relevant council/shire for materializing the project.

As indicated above, the funds generated to date have been mainly utilised for purchase of land as a deposit of bond money and etc. Now the association needs everyone’s ongoing funding assistance for the next critical phase of buying the land and building the mosque and community centre.

The association therefore earnestly seeks the cooperation and generous support and financial assistance of all Muslim community and other friends, patrons and well-wishers to start the first phase of the construction of our long-awaited place of worship (Mosque) for Islamic Association of Bunbury.

We will begin the donation collection drive this Saturday after Dinner just before Isyak until the end of Ramadan.

We realize that this effort will need money in great quantities. Also, it will probably need a very long time to realize it. However, we are sure that Allah will help and Allah will make everything is easy.

Wasalam,

Farid Affandi,
Secretary,
Islamic Association of Bunbury.
